Brightness Schedule
Overview
The brightness schedule is used to create a daily schedule for setting the brightness of the display.
The schedule can contain absolute time triggers as well as astronomical triggers.
Brightness is measured as a percentage with a range of 0%-100%, with 0% being off and 100% being full brightness. When a brightness change is triggered, the system will fade to the new value.

Brightness Settings

General Settings
- Default Brightness Enabled (On/Off)
- Default Brightness (0-100%)
- Transition: Time to next brightness value (in seconds)

Set location coordinates in order to use astronomical triggers.
- Latitude: Degrees north (+/-)
- Longitude: Degrees east (+/-)
Brightness Schedule Points
To create a new point, click the + in the Points section of the sidebar.
To modify an existing point, change the values as needed and save.

Absolute Time Trigger (Left), Astronomical Trigger (Right)
- Brightness: Brightness value (0-100%)
- Sun Phase: (Absolute Time, Nautical Dawn, Sunrise, Solar Noon, Sunset, Night)
- Time: Time to change brightness (hour:minute am/pm)
- Offset: Time from astronomical trigger (+/- in minutes)
The system uses "Latest Takes Precedence" logic when dealing with multiple triggers happening at once. Whichever trigger happens last will set the brightness value on the screen.
Take care when placing absolute triggers near astronomical triggers as part of the year the triggers can happen out of the desired sequence.
